Bill. In Essence, in the event of such an event occurring in the future, monies would be available to continue (without
interruption) monthly disability payments and death benefits for ALL VETERANS! YOU are encouraged to go the National
DAV Website and send the printed email/letter to your elected officials encouraging them to pass this vital and important
legislation!

Richmond this year due to Batavia's reconstruction activities. Parade starts at 7 pm - Participation Open to all
veterans - line up starts at 6 pm at old ice house.

TOYS for TOTS & Neediest Kids of All Program Gearing Up for Christmas. Starting
in December in an effort to raise funds to purchase toys and clothing for local needy children the American Legion
will once again be 'holding you up' in Batavia (Dollar General Intersection) on Dec 6th and in Owensville on
Dec 7th! Also, members of the local American Legions are selling $5 for $50 chance drawing tickets. Drawings begin in
December (3 Draws Per Day). All Proceeds Go to buying toys and clothes for the kids! Please HELP if you can!
